Cheryl Guhl 
Cheryl was orignaly hired at Bearly Quilting in 2007,but left us for an extended vacation/job opportunity with the Parks Service. She recently returned and rejoined our Bearly Quilting family. Cheryl has lived in the Sonora area since 1965 and is a former instructional aide for the school district. Cheryl said she has been sewing since she was 8 years old and quilting for the last 15 years or so. In that time, she has become a very accomplished quilter. When not working at the shop, Cheryl enjoys painting, creating murals, camping, reading, and spending time with her grandkids.
Debbi Nisser 
Although Debbi has been sewing since she was a young girl, she has only been quilting for about a year or so....in that short amount of time, she has become quite knowledgeable and accomplished as a quilter. Debbi has lived in Tuolumne County for over 40 years and has worked in many jobs during her adult life...not the least of which was raising her 3 children. When not working at Bearly Quilting, Debbi enjoys landscaping, gardening, and crafts of all sorts.
Jean Boroff 
Jean is a retired high school Home Economics teacher from Southern California. Jean moved to Tuolumne County about 13 years ago. Although
she has been sewing since she was a young girl, she started quilting about 1976. She also is quite
an accomplished embroiderer. When not working at Bearly Quilting, Jean enjoys sewing and reading.
Dinah Carson 
Dinah is the newest member of our Bearly Quilting family. Originally from Southern California, Dinah has been living in Tuolumne County for about 16 years. She has worked in dentistry for many years and now also works part time for Bearly Quilting. Dinah has been sewing for 45 years and quilting for approximately 21 years. She is an accomplished quilter and has taught quilting
classes to children and adults. When not working, Dinah enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, and traveling. Please welcome Dinah the next time you’re in the store.
